Harry Brown previews Shrewsbury Town’s Vitality FA Cup second qualifying round match against Westfields FC Women.

Town have been on a strong run of performance to start of the season with high scoring matches all going the way of Blue and Amber.

Assistant manager Harry Brown previews this Sundays game and the challenges that may face the team.

On the confidence going into this game following the good run of form-

We are confident going into the game after a run of good performances, our start to the season has given us some good momentum but it’s important we stay focused to make sure we get through to the next round.

On the ability to rotate players to accommodate for injuries-
Yes it’s unfortunate that we’ve had a few injuries the last week or so, but i think this season more than ever we have the depth and the quality in the squad that means other players can come in and step up. Our last league game was a great example of that.
On the challenges Westfield may cause the team-
The challenge is always slightly more difficult away from home but I think the players are excited for the challenge of playing an unfamiliar opposition and proving we are good enough to keep going in the competition.
On the strong goal scoring performances and if that can continue this Sunday-
I hope this weekends game will be more of the same. We have been really good in front of goal so far this season which has made for some exciting games. So fingers crossed for plenty more goals on Sunday.
