“I’m so happy with the result and performance. It felt amazing seeing everyone passing the ball around so well which meant we created so many chances.”
On playing all 90 minutes with the armband. –
“Absolutely amazing. Anyone will know that I’d rather Vikki be on the pitch but I’m glad I’m doing the captain role justice whilst she’s not able to play.”
On the teams performance to get the first clean sheet of the season –
“I felt like everyone worked really hard for each other, somebody was always dropping in to cover when needed and the there was plenty of talking from the back which helps massively.”
On getting on the scoring and assisting sheet –
“It’s always great to get a goal and be involved in team mates goals. I had a good feeling I was going to score so hopefully I get that good feeling next week too!”
On continuing the unbeaten run –
“I think if we continue to play the way we have been then yes we can continue this run and work our way to the top of the table.”
