Tom Peevor pre match – Sandwell Ladies 

This Sunday Shrewsbury Town Women host Sandwell Ladies for the second league fixture this season. The first game of the season has started of great with Shrewsbury taking all three points and scoring 7 goals, the team look to continue this high scoring winning style through to all games this season. 

Manager Tom Peevor previews the game against Sandwell this Sunday, 

On how he feels about Sandwell as opposition- 

“Well firstly it’s nice to be playing a different team this week and I think our squad are really looking forward to it. We have a full squad and those who are not starting will be eager to get on and make a difference.” 

On having played three games against Walsall before playing a second league game- 

“We have a big enough squad to cope with consistent games so I don’t think this will be a problem. We just need to focus on the next game.” 

On whether the team can consistently preform the same as in the first league game- 

“Every week we get stronger, the attitude and effort at training is excellent. Everyone is competing for a place and it’s really helping everyone to develop. This continues for us this Sunday against Sandwell.”
