A freekick from Sandwell again this time whipped into the box, the ball is collected by the Shrewsbury goalkeeper but followed by a collision with a Sandwell player but both players appear to be okay.

Sandwell find themselves creating a few more chances since this free kick with allot of possession in the Shrewsbury half but all chances only resort to long shots being taken that don’t trouble the keeper.

Either team appear to struggle to convert passes to create any chances as possession continues to be lost by either team with misplaced passes.

An attack from Shrewsbury sees Shannon Mcshane in the midfield play a lovely weighted pass through to Maddie Jones who’s able to put the shot over the keeper

Shrewsbury 3-1 Sandwell

Play is completely Shrewsbury from here on, passes are played more direct and possession is completely in the hands of the blue and amber army.

A through ball is played over the top of the Sandwell defence, a clearance header is attempted but is skimmed of the defender’s head, playing Zoe Child through on goal. She takes her time and then fires the shot beautifully into the top right corner of the goal.
