Shrewsbury Town YDP Advanced Development Centres cater for all players between the ages of 13 – 16 years, and gives them the opportunity to represent Shrewsbury Town in the Community in a competitive fixture programme.

About the sessions

Shrewsbury Town YDP (Youth Development Phase) Advanced Development Centres are available for Male and Female players and allow them to represent Shrewsbury Town in the Community in weekly matches.

The aims of the YDP ADC’s are to improve players technically, physically & tactically, along with improving their confidence and looks to develop players both collectively and individually, on and off the field.

YDP times:

  • Male (u13-u14)/ Shrewsbury, SY2 6ST, Thursdays, 5:00-6:30
  • Male (u15-u16)/ Shrewsbury, SY2 6ST, 6:30-8:00
  • Thursdays 7:45-21:15 / Ludlow, SY8 2BN

There are numerous exit routes for graduate players, including our Football & Education Programme at Shrewsbury Town FC for those looking to go into coaching or a sporting career, with the potential of becoming staff members at Shrewsbury Town Foundation. Gifted & talented players who excel at this level could be given the opportunity to progress to Shrewsbury Town’s Academy Programme.
