Our Football Coaching, Development and Administration Top Up (BSc Hons) is designed for students who have already obtained a football-related Foundation Degree or equivalent qualification.
Who is it for?
This unique football coaching course focuses on both the football and business-related knowledge needed to develop professionals for the industry. You will expand on your knowledge-base and will be able to specialise your work-based learning experience in line with your career ambitions. Developed in partnership with professional coaching organisations, this football coaching course allows you to study and gain work placements across the globe.
How will I study?
Learning will take place through virtual lectures and face to face mentor support in the educational room in the Community Hub based at Shrewsbury Town Football Club (SY2 6ST). As well as practical learning in the fields and laboratories at the University of South Wales Campus in Cardiff (CF24 2FN) when on residential. You will complete up to 200 hours of directed work based learning whilst completing your project to give you the vital skills for a career in youth coaching, football development, sports science or performance analysis.
