Harry Brown shares his immediate reactions to the 4-1 victory over Walsall Ladies in the first round of the Vitality FA Cup, this was the third straight fixture against Walsall. Last weekend the team did win this fixture but extra time was player when it shouldn’t have, leading to this replay taking place

On his reaction to the performance today –

“Yeah, obviously happy to get the win after having the game having to be played again, but we’re into the next round that’s the main thing, some more minutes for the players. Put right some things from the first game and scored some more goals, which was good to see.

On the pressure to win the third game against Walsall and if they were nervous –

“Not nervous. We were confident that we could win the game. Obviously, having played them twice before. Obviously, we had a lot more to lose and I think the main thing is, you know it was a confident performance we put thing put right and a lot of things that we did wrong in the first game and so yeah, we’re happy to be moving on to the next round.

On the goals scored and the attacking quality of the team –

Yeah, I think the last two games and today have shown that we’re you know, really good going forward. The one goal that we conceded was a little bit disappointing, but you know, we’ve got plenty of time and training to put that right, so yeah, we’re happy.

On not keeping the clean sheet in the game’s strong performance –

Yeah, it’s one of the things we wanted to work on. Obviously, having conceded three goals last time we made the game a bit difficult for ourselves, today I felt like we were a lot more in control of the game, which was a positive, but definitely something to work on for next week to keep clean sheet.
