About us
Shrewsbury Town Women’s Team compete in the West Midlands Regional Women’s Football League, Premier Division and are current Division One invincible’s (2021-22).
Our team plays a strong role in the local community, inspiring people of all ages to get involved with football by showcasing the power of teamwork and determination.
We train on our state of the art Community 3G Pitch located next to Montgomery Waters Meadow where we also play our home games. There is also the opportunity to occasionally play our games in the stadium throughout the season.
Our training sessions run on Tuesday’s 8pm – 9:30pm and Thursday’s 8pm – 9pm. On Sunday’s we play our games at 2pm.
Playing for STFC Women’s Team:
We do not charge any playing fee’s and you will receive free training and playing kit. You will also receive free tickets to STFC men’s home league games.
As a team we want to provide a platform for you to develop your skills and reflect on your performances. Our Coaches and Analyst will help you to do this with the aid of our VEO camera analysis tool.
In addition to this, we also hold regular team meetings which help us improve our tactical approach, psychological match preparation, nutrition and much more.
