Libby Veitch –
A tough game, what’s your immediate reactions to the game?
“We knew it would be a tough game playing against a team from the league above. However, we did well to give Lye Town a challenging game and every player gave it there all throughout the 90 minutes. Often looking the more dominant team, it was unfortunate to leave with the loss.”
You managed to get yourself a goal how good did that feel and to score at the stadium of all locations?
“It was a very proud and overwhelming moment to score in the stadium with all the fans watching. A very well deserved goal for Shrewsbury.”
The team will be looking to pick up form again and get back to winning ways as the league continues, how important is it for the team to not be demoralised and to stay positive?
“Despite being out of the cup and losing our winning streak we cannot let our heads fall. We need to now focus our attention on the league and hopefully come out on top this season.”
This game taking place in the stadium with over 500 people attending how good was that to see all the support for the team?
“It was amazing too see all the support from the Shrewsbury fans. We were all so great full to everyone who came to down to support, and hope they will continue to support us in the future.”
