Here at Shrewsbury Town in the Community, we want to help make a positive difference to all in our community – no matter what race, gender or sporting ability you may have. Since 2008, we have invested more than £1.43 million into the Shropshire community, delivering sessions to more than 7160 unique participants in the process.
More than 80 of those take part in our disability programmes, and we have also reached 560 participants in our after-school clubs. We average over 20 hours of contact with each participant, over 2000 of which have engaged in 1295 hours of delivery. We continue to try to increase participation in our community and hope you can be a part of it.
At the end of 2017, Shrewsbury Town in the Community launched the #Shrews4All campaign, which aims to put the spotlight on participants who are at the heart of the work the charity does. The campaign aims to explain the positive impact that the work Shrewsbury Town in the Community has had on their lives during the time they have spent with the charity.
The #Shrews4All hashtag helps us to highlight why our programmes are so vital to the community as behind every participant is a story, and we want to share their inspiring journeys.
