Shrewsbury Town Women compete in the West Midlands Women’s Regional League, having reformed in 2013.
We were the largest and most successful female club within the county of Shropshire, having been founded in the early 1990’s.
Town won 10 Shropshire Women’s Cups before folding in 2008, and since their return in 2013, have reached two consecutive Shropshire Cup finals in the 2015/16/ and 2016/17 seasons.
The 2014/15 season saw them finish as runners up in the Staffordshire League Cup, and gain promotion to the West Midlands Women’s Regional League.
In the 2015/16 season they once again fell just short of cup success, this time finishing as Division One League Cup runners up.
In the 2021/22 season, Shrewsbury Town Women secured a multi year deal with Physis Care ensuring their development continues.
